Event Description

Colorado Veterans Project invites all civilians and military personnel to participate in the Memorial Day Run & March in honor of Memorial Day. Athletes are invited to participate in a 5k, 10k or 30k run. Participants are encouraged to bring a 25-pound rucksack for an added challenge, filling it with non-perishable food items to donate following the race. All participants are invited to bring non-perishable food donations, which will be donated to Care & Share Food Bank in Southern Colorado, to help feed local veterans in need. Those who choose to attempt the 30k will have the unique opportunity to earn the Norwegian Foot March Badge, a prestigious award of tactical advancement not commonly available in the US.
