Elegies: A Song Cycle by William Finn (Falsettos, A New Brain) is an intimate and moving remembrance of departed friends, a musical memorial drawn from experiences in the composer’s own life. This song cycle is a reflection of loss and grief wrapped in gorgeous and sometimes irreverent storytelling. In this time when grieving in the physical presence of others is not often possible, Elegies is our way of reaching out, sharing our experiences, and embracing the community with our voices.
