PERICULO FELIS

Cottonwood Center for the Arts is pleased to announce a juried exhibition for this October Arts Month, featuring works in response to an open call to the public: PERICULO FELIS, sponsored by Purple Mountain Group at Morgan Stanley.

Cats and people have coexisted for an estimated 12,000 years. There is no shortage of feline chicanery, mischief and hilarious misconduct documented throughout history, and for this call we asked artists to celebrate it to the point of aggrandization.

Entries of all mediums and styles were accepted, as long as they saluted the cheeky delinquency of our feline companions in an intentional way.

Come experience this exhibit and enjoy two floors of open studios + galleries this First Friday October 3rd from 5-8 pm, and all month during normal business hours.
