“Pipe Screams” Halloween Organ Concert

On Sunday, October 30 at 3:00 p.m., First Christian Church at 16 E. Platte Avenue is presenting “Pipe Screams”, a Halloween themed, light hearted and family friendly concert.

The program will feature organists from the Colorado Springs Chapter of the American Guild of Organists and include performances of Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in d minor, PDQ Bach’s Toccata et Fuga Obnoxia, Carmen Fantasy by Bizet, Dance Macabre by Camille Saint-Saëns and more!

The mission of the American Guild of Organists is to foster a thriving community of musicians who share their knowledge and inspire passion for the organ. The American Guild of Organists (AGO) is the national professional association serving the organ and choral music fields. The Guild serves approximately 275 chapters and 12,000 members throughout the United States and abroad.

Performers and audience members, especially kids, are encouraged to wear Halloween appropriate costumes. A free will offering will be taken, $15 suggested donation.
