Seicento Baroque Ensemble: Magnificent Magnificats

"Seicento Baroque Ensemble will showcase J.S. Bach’s glorious Magnificat in Eb in a celebratory concert of Magnificat settings from the Baroque era. ‘Magnificent Magnificats’ features the chamber choir, with vocal soloists, and a baroque orchestra—an orchestral setting fitting for Seicento’s 10th anniversary season. The program will open with a delightful setting once attributed to Buxtehude, followed by a truly beautiful setting by Charpentier. These three regal and joyful pieces will bring back the full Seicento ensemble and orchestra."
