Sphere Ensemble: Vintage

"Sphere is excited to present 'Vintage,' a program that will bring us back to our self-conducted roots (yes, you read correctly!) with a program of works spanning our 11-year history! We will revisit some of our favorites from our debut album Divergence, including Styx’s 'Come Sail Away' and tango classic 'Nueve Puntos.' Also from the archive, we’re excited to bring back our full Beatles Abbey Road Medley, Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now and the beautiful second movement from Beethoven’s 'Sonate Pathétique.' We are keeping things fresh with new to Sphere works: Vivian Fung’s 'Pizzicato for Strings,' the Venezuelan favorite 'Fuga con Pajarillo' by Aldemaro Romero, and 'King Fallen' by Nkeiru Okoye."
