Pikes Peak Opera League proudly presents Summer Fest: A Summer Afternoon of Song with elegant hors d'oeuvres served with white wine/champagne and a mix of opera, musical theater and art songs.

The Pikes Peak Opera League proudly presents Summer Fest: A Summer Afternoon of Song benefiting the PPOL Scholarship Fund to assist young aspiring vocalists at the Opera Theatre of the Rockies Vocal Arts Festival.

The evening features Mezzo Soprano Maire Threse Carmack and includes elegant hors d'oeuvres, and a mix of opera, musical theater and art songs.

Therese is a past PPOL Young Voice Finalist and PPOL Career Advancement Award Winner, and this year will be receiving the PPOL Career Enhancement Award. This summer, Therese has been chosen to be part of the internationally acclaimed Santa Fe Opera Artist Apprentice program, and the Opera League is so pleased to have her perform during a break in SFO rehearsals.
