Event Description

Pueblo Friends of the Arkansas River invites you to celebrate the summer solstice on Saturday, June 18! The all-day free outdoor event takes place on both sides of Pueblo’s first suspension pedestrian bridge over the Arkansas River.

Bring your family to join in the fun. It all kicks off at 8 am with a predicted walk/run event hosted by the Southern Colorado Runners Club. Early risers can also visit and watch the levee muralists at work. From 10 – 4 there will be a variety of vendor booths, including artists, music all day, local Food Trucks, and activities for the family. Local musicians will be performing throughout the day thru10 pm. A community Lantern Parade in the evening will close out the celebration.

Outdoor venue along the Arkansas River below the West 4th St Bridge. Parking available at Midtown Shopping Center. Free family activities, including vendors, music, artists will be on the levee as well as trail side of the Arkansas River in the vicinity of the new pedestrian, suspension bridge.
