Theatrework’s ACT OUT: 2 Gents

Creating opportunities for our dynamic and diverse communities of the Pikes Peak region to gather together in joy is at the heart of Theatreworks’ mission and our ACT OUT program (formerly called Free-For-All). Beginning with Comedy of Errors in 2019, the ACT OUT program has grown to include a variety of community partner sites and returns in the summer of 2024 with ACT OUT: 2 Gents.

Join this joyful, mobile production at libraries, schools, community centers, parks, and senior centers all throughout the Pikes Peak region. Public performances of ACT OUT are always free to audiences, from the oldest to the youngest, and everyone in between. We'll bring the actors, the costumes, the story, and the Shakespearean hijinks, all we're missing is you!

Two upstart gents, two go-getter ladies, two Italian cities that won't know what hit them, and one crazy summer road trip tangled with hijinks, love, friendship, and yes, even a disguise or two. Join Theatreworks for a fast paced, energetic staging of one of Shakespeare's overlooked comedic masterpieces!
