‘Transcendent Femme’

‘Transcendent Femme‘ is an immersive gallery and third space debuting in Downtown, Colorado Springs at the Meanwhile Block for the whole month of October 2025. The exhibit narrative follows the story of a creative as she navigates self discovery and reflection. Through paintings and fantastical enchanted forest environment, viewers are encouraged to discover more about their own personal story. During the month there will be more opportunities for people to dive into the topics of mental health through 20 different workshops and events centered around on Mind, Body, and Spirit connection.

The importance of the ‘Transcendent Femme‘ project planning space at GOCA is to continue to involve and invite community members to participate in this movement. From July 1st to Sept 20th, we will build the set of ‘Transcendent Femme‘ guided by the T.F. Team and student interns. We want to build excitement for the exhibit, so we will also give people a small taste of what is to come through the addition of intimate gatherings hosted throughout our time in the GOCA planning space with our October featured facilitators. Also since inspiration and accessibility are essential tenets of this project and that is why GOCA is the perfect partner! We are excited to make 10ft tall trees and whimsical decor with all who are interested this summer to fall season!

A public reception is scheduled for Thursday, September 4th, from 5-7 p.m. at the GOCA Project Space / Ent Center for the Arts.
