When Colorado Springs voters chose an unaffiliated political newcomer for mayor over a long established Republican stalwart, many hailed it as a sea change in the city's politics. But the currents that led to Yemi Mobolade's victory -- and Wayne Williams' defeat -- are a lot more complicated than they might seem.
