Denver choreographer Cleo Parker Robinson on ‘Dance Africa’ and social change

Cleo Parker Robinson's creative imprint on Denver's art scene goes deep. The choreographer helped launch the Denver School of the Arts and choreographed Opera Colorado's first production. She also heads her own dance troupe -- the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble.

Born in Denver's Five Points, Robinson has witnessed the city go through major transitions. This is often reflected in her art, and, on Friday and Saturday she's putting on the fifth edition of "Dance Africa."
