Story Produced by Kelley Griffin
You won’t recognize the music on the new CD “Static Line” -- until you do. Denver composer Tyler Gilmore weaves World War II-era songs like "I’ll Be Seeing You" into contemporary compositions for his 12-piece orchestra, 9th and Lincoln. It's a big band focused on modern jazz and named for the cross streets of its home base in Denver, Dazzle jazz club. Ryan Warner speaks with Gilmore about the "Static Line."
