Governor John Hickenlooper told lawmakers this week he wants to cut 425 million dollars from the state budget. Those cuts would raise class sizes, reduce state worker paychecks and close parks. By the time Hickenlooper was done talking to them, some members of his own party were publicly denouncing his plan. Hickenlooper joins Ryan Warner to talk about his budget proposal. This is the first in a regular series of conversations we’ll have with governor during his time in office.
