The Omicron variant has thrown some new unknowns into efforts to predict the path of COVID-19. This week, the number of cases in Colorado rose above 1 million and hospitalizations are rising too. But, as always, the picture is more complicated. John Samet is the dean of the Colorado School of Public Health. He's part of the state group that tracks the virus. CPR health reporter John Daley has also been tracking the virus from the start.
