It's a story steeped into Colorado's deep craft beer mythology: Over 25 years, Kim Jordan grew New Belgium Brewery from a business in her basement into one of the Unites States' largest breweries.
On Wednesday, Aug. 1, Jordan will recount that tale in front of a live audience at the Boulder Theater. The event is hosted by Guy Raz, who hosts the NPR podcast "How I Built This," which profiles successful entrepreneurs. The evening is sold out, but Jordan and Raz spoke to Colorado Matters about Jordan's highs and lows and the craft beer industry.
