The Colorado Springs Gazette has this story about a forum last night that addressed heroin use by high school-aged children. KXRM reports on the budget cuts facing D11.

In Pueblo, the Chieftain reports on a packed house of county workers fighting furloughs mandated in December by Pueblo County commissioners, and D70 parents coming out for a meeting on budget cuts in that school district. KKTV reports the Pueblo County Sheriff will seek reelection.

In LaJunta, the Tribune-Democrat says county commissioners are contracting to train worker.
