Denver Library Hosts Art from Indian Children’s Books

In the early 1900s, government-run Indian boarding schools focused on Anglo culture. But some educators commissioned native artists to illustrate text books about traditional ways of life. An exhibit at the Denver Public Library highlights the artists' work. Ryan Warner speaks with Rebecca Benes, co-curator of "Native American Picture Books of Change."
