Private Ski Resort Proposed for Minturn

· Apr. 5, 2010, 3:59 pm

There's a certain charm to the small mining town of Minturn, near Vail. And soon there could be a private, members-only ski resort right next door. It would be the first of its kind in Colorado. The development could bring in more tax dollars and includes a superfund clean-up. But locals don't agree on whether it would be good overall for Minturn. Ryan Warner talks to Bill Weber, senior vice president of the Ginn Company, which wants to build the resort, and J.K. Perry, a reporter with the Vail Daily.
