The cost of having an educated workforce and how to pay for it was the topic at the state's budget committee meeting yesterday. College and university leaders testified before lawmakers in an effort to make the pitch for higher education funding, and sketch out a roadmap for next year's budget. Bente Birkeland has more from state capitol.
