Round-Up: Effort to change same sex marriage ban underway; and more

A proposed constitutional amendment to repeal Colorado's gay marriage ban and replace it with language saying marriage is allowed regardless of sex is heading to the state titling board next week...and, the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment is warning that it is preparing to lay off 30 to 100 employees, even as the department struggles to keep up with its current workload.
