Students, faculty, staff and nearby residents continue to adorn a fence around Arapahoe High School with flowers and momentos as a makeshift tribute to Claire Davis.

17-year-old Davis, who was shot last Friday when a gunman entered the school, continues to be in critical but stable condition at a local hospital.

Grandview High School in Aurora offered its good wishes on a banner signed by hundreds of students and faculty.

Grandview math and leadership teacher Anne Williams helped hang the sign on the fence along Dry Creek Road.

"Only by Twitter and Facebook did they know this sign went up today at Grandview," Williams said. "But 7 o’clock it was up and by 2:30 p.m. we had this many signatures so we could bring it over here to support this side of town."

Williams says many students at Grandview didn’t have the chance to sign the banner, so they are preparing another one and plan to bring it down on Friday.
