Weld County workers not yet hurt by falling oil prices

Weld County's unemployment rate held at 3.9 percent in December amid falling oil prices, reported the Coloradoan Friday. Experts told the paper that the county could be in a "world of hurt" because of its reliance on oil revenues. At the beginning of the year, big oil companies announced their intentions to scale back in the region.

January employment data is expected on March 17.
