Colorado effort to limit drone surveillance fails

Colorado lawmakers have given up their efforts to put new limits on drone surveillance.

The Senate voted Tuesday to ax the last surviving measure of the year to limit drones. Sponsors say they couldn't find a way to limit surveillance without trampling on free speech rights or the ability of law enforcement to carry out investigations.
