Judge OKs protection order for Broomfield student who was stabbed

A judge has approved the request for a protection order involving a 14-year-old boy accused of stabbing a classmate at a Broomfield school.

The Broomfield Enterprise reports Judge Francis Wasserman approved the order Tuesday for the 14-year-old girl who survived the attack. The boy is being held at a juvenile detention center on charges of attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and possession of a weapon on school grounds.
