Colorado's largest supplier of public drinking water is in the midst of a debate over how much fluoride, if any, to put into its delivery system after the federal government announced lower standards in April. Denver Water serves about one out of five of Colorado's 5 million residents. The utility will decide Aug. 26 whether its fluoridation standards need to change.
