American racer Brent Bookwalter won the second stage of the USA Pro Challenge on Tuesday, which took racers from Steamboat Springs to the summit of the Arapahoe Basin ski area.

Bookwalter finished the race in four hours, 37 minutes and three seconds. Bookwalter's teammate for BMC Racing, Rohan Dennis, took second place just six seconds behind.

Tomorrow, the racers will travel from Copper Mountain to Aspen over Independence Pass.

"Over half of Stage 3 race mileage takes place above 10,000’. Bring your lungs," the Pro Challenge's website says.
