Regional Transportation District staffers have recommended a 18.3 percent increase in the pass that allows commuters to take unlimited rides on buses and light rail trains. They also recommended a 13.3 percent bump for the Neighborhood EcoPass, while at the same time eliminating the $2.50 airport surcharge for pass holders.
More than 100,000 commuters have passes, the Denver Post reports. The RTD board of directors will vote on the plan next week. Pass prices haven't been adjusted since 2011.
