Snowmass Gets Pushback After Removing Fluoride From Water

The Snowmass Water and Sanitation District board voted in July to stop adding fluoride to drinking water. And since then, they've been besieged with complaints over the decision -- and a lack of public discussion that led up to it.

Now, the Aspen Times reports Pitkin County health officials are joining the chorus of residents who want fluoride back. The district is conducting a survey of residents and will take up the issue again in October.

In August, Denver Water decided to keep fluoridating the city's water supply.
