(Corey H. Jones/CPR News)Leslie Levy, of Denver's Highland neighborhood, writes a suggestion during the inaugural Stompin' Ground Games at the McNichols Building on July 21, 2015.
July pilot program, the Stompin' Ground Games returns to Denver tomorrow for a session at Ruby Hill Park.
Organizers of the monthly series hope to connect Mile High City dwellers to different -- and lesser-known -- neighborhoods by curating performances by artists, stories from residents and discussions around important issues.
Saturday's event begins at 3 p.m. and includes a poetry reading by Molina Speaks, music by Bluebook and a history lesson on the Overland neighborhood by resident Jack Unruh.
Next up: On Nov. 14, the group will host an event at Four Mile Historic Park in Denver from 4 - 6 p.m.
