State Unemployment Rate Drops To 4 Percent

The state unemployment rate dipped to 4 percent last month, down from 4.2 percent in August.

The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment also reports Colorado added 2,000 jobs in September. A year ago, the state jobless rate was 4.5 percent.

The lowest Colorado unemployment rate of the past decade was in April 2007 at 3.5 percent.
