Federal Jury Orders Skico To Pay Damages To Former Employee

A federal jury in Colorado has ordered Aspen Skiing Co. to pay a former employee $150,000 for violating the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The Aspen Times reports that housekeeper Arcelia Rojo claimed the company fired her because of a nagging elbow injury she received on the job. A jury agreed with her, ordering Skico to pay damages Thursday.
