Map: How Much Do Colorado’s School Districts Spend Per Pupil?

Some Colorado school districts -- many on the Eastern Plains -- spend upward of $20,000 per pupil. Others, mainly in the suburban Front Range, shell out less than $10,000 per year. 

What does that mean for students? A new series from NPR takes a look at school funding across the country, with the aim of explaining what happens when the country's poorest students also attend its poorest schools.
