Suit To Remove Candidate From Senate Ballot Tossed Out

A judge has dismissed a lawsuit that aimed to remove former state representative John Keyser from Colorado's Republican U.S. Senate primary.

The plaintiffs argued Keyser should be disqualified because of forged signatures on some of his petitions to get on the ballot. However, the judge ruled they'd missed the deadline to challenge Keyser's petitions, and tossed out the whole complaint.

Five Republicans are vying to challenge Democratic U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet. Primary ballots will be mailed to voters next week.
