Wrist bands provide entrance for $10 and all associated vendors will be offering incentives, like 25 percent off all alcohol at The Brass Tap. They will also feature live music, discounted beer and a stein hoisting competition at 5:00 p.m. both evenings.
The Brass Tap will donate all the proceeds from the five participating breweries to Pikes Peak Suicide Prevention, along with a contribution of $0.25 for every Colorado pint sold April 1 through June 30. Warmouth anticipates that they have already raised more than $3,000 for the organization.
“We have been touched by this, like a lot of people have unfortunately, and this is a significant problem that needed our help,” says Mike Warmouth. “We also wanted to find someone local because everything we do here is based on giving back to the community.”
91.5 KRCC is partnering with The Rocky Mountain Food Report to present stories from their website about previews of new restaurants, updates on longtime favorites, dinners, pop-ups and more as they cover the Pikes Peak region’s food scene.
