Colorado musicians unite to raise support for Marshall Fire relief

Update, February 25 4:30 p.m.: Thank you to all who have donated. "Above the Ashes" has raised nearly $10,000 for victims of the Marshall Fire.

Colorado Public Radio is partnering with Front Range Media and music organizations for an online benefit concert “Above the Ashes: A Virtual Concert for Marshall Fire Relief” on February 19 at 7 p.m. CPR Classical's Matt Weesner and Indie 102.3's Alisha Sweeney help host the event, produced by Fox Tracks Music and The Muse Performance Space.

The concert will feature more than 10 local ensembles and artists, including the Takacs Quartet, Ars Nova Singers and the Boulder Bach Festival. They are also joined by cellist Joshua Halpern and CU-Boulder faculty Chas Wetherbee on violin with David Korevaar on piano. Sign up to attend the virtual premiere. Proceeds directly support victims of the Marshall Fire.
