2022 Virtual Conference on Inclusive Education

Inclusive education is a process of school reform that creates equity in education and increases achievement for ALL students. In inclusive schools students, families, general and special educators, administrators, support staff, and community members work together to make curriculum accessible to all learners and to differentiate instruction. This conference is an excellent development opportunity for all involved in the education and support of students with disabilities, and brings these groups together to learn, collaborate, and focus on strategies that work. The ultimate goal is participation by all students, regardless of ability, to lead rich lives of belonging in their communities.

The 2022 Conference on Inclusive Education is virtual and the theme is Take Up Space! Whether you are a parent, individual with a disability, youth or educator, you have a presence and voice that deserves to be heard. YOU TAKE UP SPACE! This year’s Inclusive Education Conference focuses on the importance of each of us using our presence to collaboratively build more inclusive schools, workplaces and communities. It truly takes a collective mindset to work towards inclusiveness, supporting each individual to have a say in who they are and want to be. We encourage all youth, parents, educators, self-advocates, administrators and beyond to join us for our 2022 Inclusive Education Conference to learn, grow and truly build communities where we all feel, know and are given the opportunities to take up space!
