Pancake Breakfast begins at 7:30 am to 9:30 Methodist Church, 416 South Main Street Singing by the Orphan Valley Singers. All proceeds benefit the Fort.
Fort opens at 8 am festivities until 4 pm. 306 South Main, La Veta, CO 81055

The Methodist Church will provide a pancake breakfast starting at 7:30 am There will be singing by the Orphan Valley Singers!
A-Bomb hotdogs and additional food vendors.
Performers:
Ken Saydak will be playing the piano in the Saloon
Teresa de Jesus Vigil, Herbalist, Storyteller, Poet
Mike the Woodman Briscoe will be our Mountain Man for the day.
Will Prater will be our mining expert.
John Carson, Kit Carson’s Great Grandson will be providing at least two programs
Demonstrations:
Mike Kernor will be in the Blacksmith shop
David Steffan will be doing an adobe brick presentation
Sandra Dolak Weaving and Navajo Rugs, Colcha Embroidery Etc…
Several people will be at the Museum in period costumes.
Arthur Short Bull will be selling his paintings.
Marta Moore and Liorah Crockett from L&M Ranch will host a fiber exhibit with sheep, spinning wool, and lots of extras! Come see their fiber products.
Games:
Pinata, Corn Hole and the Chicken Drop
