GREEN BOX ARTS SUMMER CAMP!

Pre-registration is open for our Green Box Summer Arts Camp!

2023 Green Box Arts Camp: June 20th through 30th, Tuesdays to Fridays (8 days). For rising 1st through 5th graders.

Join us this summer in beautiful Green Mountain Falls on the Green Box Arts Campus. Green Box Arts Camps are process-based arts opportunities for your child to explore dance, visual arts, music and theatre. Our staff is made up of seasoned working artists and educators who collaborate to create art with nature-integrated curriculum that follows the lead of our campers interests and passions. We also work with professional dancers and teachers from Ormao Dance Company and will have a master class taught by this year’s featured Green Box Dance Company in residence – The world-renowned Paul Taylor Dance Company. Our camps take place in the Green Box studios and the greater Green Mountain Falls campus as we adventure to streams, hike up to see the James Turrell’s Green Mountain Falls Skyspace, and have daily mindfulness and circle time on the lawn.

Typical Daytime schedule:
8:45-9am ——–Drop Off at the Green Box Arts Studios (6990 Lake Street, Green Mountain Falls)
9:00am ———-Opening Circle and Mindfulness
9:10am ———–Session I Creative Movement/Dance
10:15am ———Session II Teacher-led Creative outdoor play- social games by the stream & Snack Time
11:25am ———Session III Visual Art
12:25 pm ——–Lunch and Free Choice Outdoor Play
1:10pm ———-Session IV Theatre Games or Music Class
2:15 pm ———Final Circle Time on the Lawn
2:30pm ———–Pick-up and Good-byes
