Jefferson Symphony Orchestra: Gonzalez conducts Berlioz

"Our February concert features JSO with conductor Arturo Gonzalez performing orchestral masterpieces — Berlioz's epic 'Symphonie fantastique' and Max Bruch's Violin Concerto No 1. In the notes to his visionary score, Berlioz writes: 'The composer's intention has been to develop various episodes in the life of an artist, in so far as they lend themselves to musical treatment.' We are joined by international violinist, Erasmo Solerti, from the Municipal Symphony of Heredia in Costa Rica."
