Event Description

Colorado College faculty artists take the stage for their final Live from Packard Hall! performance of the academic year on Tuesday, April 19, beginning at 3 p.m.

The concert is free and open to the public, and it will be live streamed on YouTube and Facebook.

The program ranges from late Baroque to modern works, opening with the fourth movement – “Aria: Bete aber auch dabei” – from J.S. Bach’s church cantata Mache dich, mein Geist, bereit, performed by Jennifer DeDominici, mezzo-soprano, Paul Nagem, flute, Andrew Kolb, cello, and Daniel Brink, harpsichord. Nagem will then be joined by Daryll Stevens, clarinet, and Alejandro Vieira, bassoon, for Robert Muczynski’s Fragments for woodwind trio. Performing Heinrich von Herzogenberg’s Trio for piano, oboe and horn, Op. 61 will be Susan Grace, piano, Monica Ding, oboe, and Sarah Ford, horn.

Closing the program will be pianist Steve Barta performing jazz selections announced from the stage, followed by Keith Reed on banjo performing bluegrass music with special guests Don Rigsby on guitar and Tim Crouch on fiddle.
