Manitou Springs Heritage Center and Museum proudly announces its featured exhibit, “Manitou Bottles and Bottling Plants”. Experience the development of the bottled mineral water industry in Manitou Springs. In the early 1900’s, Manitou Springs, with its two competing bottling plants, was the capital of bottled mineral water. Learn about the mystery of the town’s “effervescent and healthful mineral spring waters” and see the world-famous Ute Chief Gusher Bottle and the many other colorful bottles that helped put Manitou Springs on the world map. The exhibit will run through December, 2022.
