On Saturday, July 2 at 6:30 p.m., First Christian Church at 16 E. Platte Avenue is presenting the next program in their summer Music on the Labyrinth series, featuring the Sarah Groh Trio. Sarah Groh, vocals, Jana Lee Ross, keys, and Marc Neihof, bass, will present a mix of jazz standards and some beloved female folk classics with a jazz flair. The program will be held outdoors on the labyrinth on the south side of the church, but will move indoors for inclement weather. You may bring a blanket or chair, or just sit on the labyrinth wall. A free will offering will be taken.

The Trio has a set repertoire that includes Ella Fitzgerald, Carol King, some romantic Antonio Carlos Jobim bossa nova, and a few fun modern Broadway tunes.
Sarah Groh is classically trained, and has found an enriching musical career as a church music director, band leader, choir soprano and alto, and as a voice teacher. Sarah hales from Kansas City, but moved to Colorado Springs in 2005.
