Season Finale! Milestones: Colorado Vocal Arts Ensemble at 30

Join Colorado Vocal Arts Ensemble to celebrate 30 years of commitment to the choral art! The performance will feature Jaakko Mäntyjärvi’s Canticum Calamitatis Maritimae, a dramatic and moving musical portrait of a ship lost at sea. This compelling work is a beloved CVAE favorite, bringing frequent requests for repetition by singers and audiences alike. We will explore new territory with De Profundis by Venezuelan composer Cristian Grases. Motets, madrigals, and choral arrangements of popular songs round out the program, making this an eclectic experience not to be missed! A reception will follow the performance.
