Event Description

It’s said the song on long dusty stretches of the desert helped to ease pain and suffering. Songs were a practical tool — a means to quiet the cows and quiet the mind so neither would go wandering too far.

This is a show of frontier creators, each using a unique style to interpret the trail songs found along their own road west. Curated by neü folk / Max Kauffman, this new exhibit showcases works from Colorado- and New Mexico-based artists Johnny DeFeo, Anthony Garcia Sr., Johanna Mueller, Alexander Richard Wilson, Mike Strescino and Jaime Molina.
