TUBACHRISTMAS(R) Boulder!

For the first time, your Boulder Concert Band is sponsoring a Boulder TUBACHRISTMAS, as part of Downtown Boulder's Freezie Fest winter celebration! Please join in the fun, to play or listen!

TUBACHRISTMAS was created by Harvey G. Phillips in honor of his teacher, tubist William J. Bell (born Christmas Day 1902), and ever since then, many have contributed to its musical heritage, including American composer Alec Wilder (died Christmas Eve 1980), and Norlan Bewley, who arranged Carols for a MERRY TUBACHRISTMAS, the official music of TUBACHRISTMAS. Through this celebration we pay grateful respect to all composers who have contributed to the repertoire of the tuba family.
