As the 10th anniversary of the federal program Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals approaches, we're sharing monologues from DACA recipients. The program gave children -- brought to the U.S. from other countries -- temporary protection from deportation and it made them eligible for college and jobs.

The monologues are compiled in the podcast, "UndocuAmerica Series" from Boulder-based MOTUS Theater.

Cristian Solano-Cordóva's monologue, "The Meaning of Courage," is about his journey with his mother and sister to the United States and then of his efforts to protect his sister, an American citizen, who fears he and their mother will be deported.
