A monument to a war hero will be dedicated Sunday in Denver's Lincoln Memorial Park. You may recognize his name: Maj. Gen. Maurice Rose. He led the Third Armored Division, known as Spearhead, and was killed on the battlefield near the end of World War II. One of Denver’s biggest hospitals was later named in his honor.
