KCFR-FM Denver launched in 1970 to the sounds of the Rolling Stones. Forty-six years later, the station is now known as Colorado Public Radio. Call letters come and go and Steve Conklin waxes nostalgic for them. He's the president of the Broadcast Pioneers of Colorado and he assembled some of his favorite clips.

Conklin played an advisory role in creating, "Don't Touch That Dial," a new exhibit about the golden age of radio currently at the Aurora History Museum. The exhibit runs through April 17.
