Grand Junction Health Care Serves as a Model

August 11, 2009

As America debates major changes to its health care system, people are looking for models of how to do it better. Lately, they've been looking at Grand Junction. The health system there is ranked by one widely accepted measure as among the most cost effective in the nation - that means people get high quality care at substantially lower cost than most places.

KCFR Health Reporter Eric Whitney has this story about how it works.
